Whatever waste stream we are dealing with, we understand that as a waste producer you have a legal responsibility to show that you have dealt with your waste appropriately and demonstrate that you have fulfilled your "Duty of Care" under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. With many forms of healthcare waste also being covered by the Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2005, the need to be able to provide evidence of appropriate disposal is further emphasised. For this reason, PHS All Clear will provide you with a full audit trail so you can be confident that your waste is handled correctly.
Our highly trained staff can offer advice on all areas of waste legislation and will ensure that your waste is stored only in approved containers, transported in strict accordance with legislation and "Best Practice Guidelines". Service staff are ADR (Carriage of Dangerous Goods) qualified and provide the waste producer, as well as the general public, with the security that these sensitive waste streams are handled, transported and disposed of with the highest degree of care whilst keeping within all governing legislation. All of our disposal routes are fully audited and use Best Available Technology to ensure that your waste is safely disposed of in a way that seeks to limit the environmental impact.
PHS All Clear's vehicle fleet is under three years old and is maintained the highest standards by utilising manufacturer approved engineers, giving us and the clients the security of reliable service vehicles. Our fleet of 7.5 tonne box vehicles are supported by a response fleet of 3.5 tonne vans to guarantee access to locations with restricted access.
With our Head Office taking care of centralised services, such as invoicing and credit control, all operational depots are free to concentrate on getting the job done. All our depots have dedicated telephone lines enabling you to talk directly with the person responsible for managing your service.
